Ambode approves retreat to enhance HR standards in public service
To facilitate the evolution of common standards on Human Resources (HR) Policies in the State, Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode has approved a three-day retreat, the State Head of Service, Mrs. Olabowale Ademola has said.
Ademola further explained that the retreat is also expected to establish uniform templates for the implementation of common policies on Human Resource Management in Service Commissions and Boards in the State Public Service.
According to the Head of Service, the three-day retreat is for Chairmen, Members and Principal Officers of Commissions, Boards and other Human Resource (HR) Management agencies in the State Public Service.
She added that the retreat is also expected to promote interaction and synergy among members of the various Commissions and Boards in the State Public Service.
Her words: “The primary objective of the retreat is to facilitate the evolution of common standards on HR Policies in the State; interaction amongst members of the various Commissions and Boards; facilitation of synergy among the various Commissions and Boards; and establishment of uniform templates for the implementation of common policies on HRM in Service Commissions and Boards.”
