AXA Mansard hosts human resources leadership conference

AXA Mansard Health Limited, the health management subsidiary of AXA Mansard Insurance Plc, recently the first edition of its human capital initiative, HR Leaders’ Conference, with the theme ‘Sustaining Employees’ Motivation Through Integrated Benefit Planning’.

According to the Chief Executive Officer of AXA Mansard Health Limited, Tope Adeniyi, the initiative was conceptualized to provide a platform for human resources leaders to meet and discuss issues as it relates to improving and sustaining employee motivation in the workplace.

He further disclosed that through the unique networking platform the conference provides, HR practitioners, opinion leaders and human capital research institutions can come together to learn, debate monitor trends, share experience and proffer solutions to improve employee commitment and productivity in their respective organizations.

The chairman of AXA Mansard Health Limited, Olusola Adeeyo, while welcoming the discussants, panelists, presenters and other invited guests appreciated everyone who had taken out time to be at the event.

He disclosed that the conference is a further demonstration of the company’s commitment to the enhancement of human capital development in Nigeria. According to him, the conference is positioned to stimulate a more dedicated, committed, patriotic and highly productive workforce in Nigeria.

The Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM), Sunday Adeyemi, delivered the keynote address at the conference.

Seasoned human capital managers at the event include leading discussions were Amina Oyagbola, MTN, Tolu Agiri, Unilever Nigeria, Gbemiga Owolabi, Airtel, Biola Orojo, Stanbic Bank, Femi Bolaji, Phillips Consulting, Dare Shobajo, Lagos Business School, , Bolaji Agbede, Access Bank, Usen Udoh, Dangote Group, Michael Thomas, Great Place to Work and Paul St Quintin, Deloitte.

Representatives of AXA Mansard global owners, AXA at the conference were Paul Hawke of AXA PPP, UK and Paul Kuhn of AXA ICAS International, UK. They also used the opportunity to throw some lights on AXA Mansard International Health Plan and Employees Assistance Programmes (EAP)
