BASF West Africa gets top employer recognition
BASF West Africa has been honoured as top ‘Employer Nigeria’ in the Top Employer Institute’s Africa category. The ceremony was held recently in South Africa.
A statement issued by the firm explained that the annual international research is undertaken by the Top Employers Institute which recognizes leading employers around the world: including those that provide “excellent employee conditions, nurture and develop talent throughout all levels of the organization, and which strive to continuously optimize employment practices”.
Integral to the Top Employers programme is that participating companies must complete a stringent research process and meet the required high standard in order to achieve the certification.
Topics covered include: Talent Strategy; Workforce Planning; On-boarding; Learning & Development; Performance Management; Leadership Development; Career & Succession Management; Compensation & Benefits; and Organizational Culture.
To reinforce the validity of the process, according to the firm, all answers were independently audited, “meaning this research has verified that BASF West Africa has outstanding employee conditions which has earned them a coveted spot among a select group of certified Top Employers”.
