Panasonic has emerged winner of prestigious 2018 Technical Image Press Association (TIPA) awards, the most coveted photo and imaging accolades in the world.

The Panasonic LUMIX DC-G9 was named the ‘Best Mirrorless CSC Expert’, while LUMIX DC-GH5s won the ‘Best Professional Photo/Video Camera’ honor and the LUMIX DC- TZ220 bagged the ‘Best Expert Compact Camera’ plum.

General Manager, Audio Video Products, Panasonic Marketing Middle East and Africa, Mr. Kunihiro Tanikura said, “We are proud that our LUMIX cameras have been presented with the prestigious TIPA honors. This esteemed industry recognition is a solid testament to the excellent quality and cutting-edge technology of our cameras. It is a well-deserved recognition of Panasonic’s position as a frontrunner in the field of image capture, and this will drive us further to continue to bring the best innovations in our cameras.”

The newest LUMIX DC-G9 camera was cited for its ability to deliver state-of-the-art image quality paired with an astonishing frame rate.

LUMIX DC-GH5s is described as a highly versatile camera, designed to handle both ends of the image capture spectrum – both still and video.

The camera’s 10.2MP High Sensitivity MOS sensor utilizes “Dual Native ISO Technology” to dig into even the darkest areas, allowing high ISO capture without supplemental lighting.

Also, the portability of the new compact camera, LUMIX DC-TZ220 is considered its best selling point. The 1-inch 20.1MP High sensitivity MOS sensor can be set up to ISO 12,800 or expanded to ISO 25,600, making it a great low light performer.
