BIS emerges winner of Cambridge global awards

A STUDENT of the British International School, Lagos has been recognized top in the 2014 Cambridge Examination series taken by learners in more than 9000 schools in 160 countries for excellent performance.

  The recognition came through one of its student Miss Eseosa Idemudia, at the just concluded Cambridge Global Award programme.

  According to the school, Cambridge Top in the World IGCSE Business Studies and IGCSE Economics awards recognize the success of learners who have achieved the highest standard mark in the world for a single subject.

 Idemudia won the awards from Cambridge International Examinations in acknowledgement of her outstanding performance in the June 2014 Cambridge Examination series.

  The British International School, said that the awards recognised the talent, dedication and commitment of both learners and staff. 

 Eseosa will receive their Cambridge Top in the World awards at a ceremony at Sevenoaks School where she is now following IB Studies. 

   Janet Morris, Director, International Network, said: ‘It is extremely rewarding to congratulate Cambridge learners and teachers at the British      International School who have worked so hard to achieve tremendous success in Cambridge examinations. The results are a reflection of the enormous talent in Nigeria, not only among learners but also within the teaching profession.
