Firm unveils initiative to reduce recruitment cost

Gr8jobsng, a recruitment platform for jobseekers and employers has launched an initiative to assist companies and organisations recruit staff at no cost as part of efforts to boost employment in the country.

The initiative profiled, ‘Project Employ’ is specifically tailored and directed at the employer group, which includes Small and Medium Entreprises (SMEs), large organizations, multinationals and international companies with emphasis to support the SME group.

‘Project Employ’ offers employers unique opportunity to have their official roles (vacancies) from intern or entry level, senior management filled at no cost by Gr8jobsng in a bid to help boost employment in Nigeria and to give jobseekers and professionals great opportunity to get hired.

Speaking on the new development, Chief Executive Officer, Gr8jobsng, Mrs. Omomene Odike, said the increasing rate of job loss in Nigeria informed the introduction of the project, explaining that it would assist employers to hire the right people and that the platform would also be of assistance to those that want to change jobs.

She added: “We hope to promote employment in Nigeria by offering our recruitment expertise for free to companies and organizations for a few months. Besides, the initiative is billed to run its first edition in the months of November and December 2016.”

Head, E-Commerce at Gr8Jobsng, Bidemi Ladipo, said initiative was created out of the company’s passion for supporting the growth of the Nigerian economy particularly at a time of economic recession and its drive to enhance the availability of jobs by connecting job seekers with employers from the comfort of their homes using their mobile devices and PCs.
