As part of efforts geared towards equipping students with information and experiences that will guide them in making positive academic, career and life choices, Pyramid Educational Advancement (PEA) Foundation, a non-governmental organization recently organised a career mentoring and life skills seminar for schools in Lagos and Ogun states.

Over 600 senior secondary school students from 60 schools benefitted from the programme in its eight edition held in Alagbado, Lagos.

The event attracted career mentors from different professions including banking, law, journalism, cinematography, accounting, among others, to interface with young people, to help them broaden their career options through topics in identity, peer pressure, and making choices, goal setting, personal grooming and etiquette.

Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Cornerstone Insurance, Mr. Ganiyu Musa speaking on the theme: ‘Be bold, dream big and do great things’, urged the participants to pursue acquisition of more knowledge.
