To boost businesses and support growth of small medium enterprise (SMEs) in the country, Parkhust Group has launched an empowerment initiative to train, equip and mentor entrepreneurs.

Speaking at the event in Lagos, Managing Director of the group, Mr. Olalekan Alabi hinged on lack of opportunities for many brilliant Nigerians with business ideas in the country to actualise them.

The initiative is tagged Parkhust Empowerment Entrepreneurship Initiative (PEEI).

According to him, many people with business ideas in Nigeria are wasting away due to lack of exposure to proper training and mentorship, which are needed for growth and success in business.

He stressed that the group would use the platform to train and empower people to combat poverty saying this would help reduce crime and insurgency in the country.

Alabi also promised the initiative would offer grants to successful entrepreneurs who enroll for the programme.

At the event, Executive Director, Parkhust group, Ololade Abuta explained that interested entrepreneurs willing to participate should visit the group’s website to register.

He explained that after training and presentation of business plans; the participants would be screened to receive grants.
