Isoko youths inaugurate new group

Former Secretary General of Isoko Development Union (IDU), Comrade Julius Mallam-Obi, has inaugurated a new youth.

Former Secretary General of Isoko Development Union (IDU), Comrade Julius Mallam-Obi, has inaugurated a new youth.

It is the Isoko Nation Youth Congress (INYC) with Comrade Isheri Maclins as president.

Administering the oath of office on the executives Malam-Obi, who also its chairman, board of trustees, said Isoko youths were being short-changed in empowerment programmes at all levels of government.

“This is because they have been playing the second fiddle by allowing themselves to be relegated to the background, which have denied them what is due to them.

He charged them to seek the empowerment of the Isoko youths.

“You should not fail to liaise with other Isoko youth bodies by creating a synergy in the necessary areas for the development of Isoko youths worldwide,” Mallam-Obi said.

Patrons of the congress are Mallam-Obi, Omokioja Egogo Eto, Joram Utukpe and Chief Alex Izogu while the newly inaugurated executives of INYC are Isheri Maclins (President), Newyear Efih (First Vice President), Godstime Oghenero Akokotu (Second Vice President), Paul Tutu Erero (Secretary General), Kingsley Obah (Assistant Secretary General), Ikede Akpode (Treasurer), Oreva-Oghene Mcdonald Olodia (Financial Secretary), Asieba Raymond (Assistant Financial Secretary), Oviri Kelvin Ozed (Director, Media and Strategy), Michael Paul (Deputy Director, Media and Strategy) and Ogheghe Ologbo Simon (Secretary, Media and Strategy).

The executive also include William Clinton Orobosa (Director of Mobilization), Sagacious Louis (Deputy Director of Mobilization), Karo Philip Oghogho (Organizing Secretary), Francis Udurie (Assistant Organizing Secretary), Samsom Ikibo (Public Relations Officer), Lawson Abanum (Assistant Public Relations Officer), Eghove Joy (Women Leader), Princess Okareme Rose (Assistant Women Leader), Philips Uwomano Philips (Speaker), Olokor Anthony (Deputy Speaker), David Ogheneluye Jarikre (Legal Adviser), Believe Ugu (Auditor), Okoro Hezekiah (Welfare Officer) and Irobo Orezimena (Assistant Welfare Officer).
   
The others are Ale Udhewe (Provost 1), Akporobaro Asa (Provost 2), Israel Udi (Provost 3), David Edhere (Protocol Officer), Samson Otuaraha (Chairman, Task Force Committee), Cyril Emonena Oshogbor (Vice Chairman, Task Force), Oruah Victor Eloho (Chairman, Employment and Empowerment Committee), Ulueme Abraham (Secretary, Employment and Empowerment Committee) as well as Ex-Officio members Ukane Lucky, Charles Udoma, Monday Ogolomo, Okolosi Kenneth, Albert Edafemuno and Adhekegba Gospel.
