Obaseki, others to grace CIBN investiture

The Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, and other eminent personalities will grace this year’s investiture of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN).

The Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, and other eminent personalities will grace this year’s investiture of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN).

Slated to hold on Saturday, October 27 at the Landmark Centre, Lagos, the institute would confer fellowship and honorary senior membership to over 190 chief executive officers, executive directors, and top management staff of banks as well as academics.

The investiture is in recognition of the awardees’ services, commitment and contributions to the banking sector and the economy in general.

Prof. Eghosa Osaghae of the Department of Political Science, University of Ibadan and former Vice Chancellor, Igbinedion University will be delivering a lecture titled, “Sound Educational System and Human Capital Development: Imperative for Economic Growth and Development”.

While the President/Chairman of Council, CIBN, Uche Olowu, will chair the occasion, those to be conferred membership include GMD/CEO, Zenith Bank Plc, Peter Amangbo; former Governor, Bank of Sierra Leone, Patrick Conteh and Director General, Budget Office of the Federation, Ben Akabueze among others.
