NIGERIA’s Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Dambazau has lauded the cordial relationship between Nigeria and China, stating that it will grow in a more mutual beneficial manner.

Dambazua stated this in Abuja during a meeting with Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria Gu Xiaojie.
The minister assured Chinese investors of adequate security and the enabling environment for business in Nigeria.

He said the country was working round the clock to ensure adequate security of lives and property of Nigerians and foreign investors in a bid to re-position the country.
Earlier, Gu said the visit was meant to strengthen the bilateral relations between both countries.

He said the just-concluded Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) Summit in South Africa was meant to strengthen the relationship between China and Africa.

The envoy said China was willing to invest in virtually all sectors of the Nigerian economy as part of efforts to mutually develop both countries.

He said China-Nigeria strategic partnership, which is in its 10th year, was meant to strengthen diplomatic ties between both countries and share experiences in nation building.

Gu also said China was ready to assist the Ministry of Interior in its renewed plan to reposition and ensure better internal security in Nigeria.
