Vitafoam boosts shareholder value through product offering

As part of its commitment to widen its product portfolio to boost shareholder value, Vitafoam Nigeria Plc has introduced Vitafoam Early Days Breastfeeding and Pillows into the Nigerian market.

As part of its commitment to widen its product portfolio to boost shareholder value, Vitafoam Nigeria Plc has introduced Vitafoam Early Days Breastfeeding and Pillows into the Nigerian market.

The Lagos State First Lady, Mrs Bola Ambode at the World Breastfeeding Week in Lagos, unveiled the products, describing it as unique, and targeted at reducing infant mortality in Nigeria yesterday.

The Lagos State’s First Lady, Mrs Bola Ambode explained that Vitafoam Nigeria Plc had been at the forefront of products aimed at reducing infant mortality in Nigeria. Mrs Ambode who was represented by Mrs Ladun Ogunbaniro stated that Vitafoam’s Board and Management should be appreciated as a good corporate citizen, which constantly designs products that address human problems.

She called on the government and other employers of labour to support the initiatives in order to have a better society.

She reiterated that Lagos State government had increased the maternity leave from three months to six months while there is 10-day paternity leave as a support for proper childcare.

Earlier, the Group Managing Director of the company, Taiwo. Adeniyi reiterated the company’s commitment to production of innovative products to enhance shareholder value, noting that the company had transcended beyond mattresses and pillows to production of quality baby soft and hard furniture, pregnancy pillow, bed sheet collection, baby cot, play mat and other products that creates comfort for the mother and the child.
