His words: “Severally I have been attacked on issues regarding to the land but I have always stood my grounds. I want the government to ensure that all I went through was not in vain. We all realise that the purpose of the land is for the purpose of development and we would like to be part of the progress the government is set to achieve.

He appealed to the state government to fulfil its promises, stating that it is imperative that the benefits are given back to Lekki central zone.

Executive Director, Technical, Lekki Worldwide Investment Limited (LIWL), Bello Ismail, said in line with the mandate of the State, investors, community and the land; we want everything to be in order, we don’t want everything to be in isolation and the purpose it is meant for.
