Former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, is expected to discuss the role of local content in preventing conflicts in the Niger Delta region at the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) coming in Houston, Texas next month.

According to Marak Alliance, United States, the opening address of the Conference will be delivered by a representative of Secretary Rick Perry, United States Secretary of Energy.

The keynote speaker, SABIC’s Vice President of local content, Fuad Mosa, will discuss the NUSANED (meaning support) initiative launched in 2017 to achieve SABIC’s first integrated localization agenda and local industry development.
