Residents lament poor power supply in Lagos

Residents of Oke-Afa area of Isolo/Oshodi Local Government Council of Lagos State have lamented over irregular electricity supply in the community.They therefore plead for government’s intervention in providing regular power in the area.

Residents of Oke-Afa area of Isolo/Oshodi Local Government Council of Lagos State have lamented over irregular electricity supply in the community.They therefore plead for government’s intervention in providing regular power in the area.

Some shop owners are grieved over the losses they incurred on daily basis, due to power outages, which has become a regular occurrence in the area. Saibu Abrahim, a shop owner expressed his distress over the losses he encounters on a daily basis for the past seven weeks, due to irregular power supply.

Nzube Ngozi, a resident also complained about the effect of incessant power outage in households, saying, “I no longer refrigerate my foods and this is making me cook more often than usual.”She pleaded with the government and power generation and distribution companies to work hard on providing regular electricity to consumers.
