The Federal Government has reaffirmed its commitment to create jobs for Nigerian youths through e-wallet systems, which will increase productivity and ensure sustainable development.

The Federal Government has reaffirmed its commitment to create jobs for Nigerian youths through e-wallet systems, which will increase productivity and ensure sustainable development.

The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Chief Audu Ogbeh, disclosed this during the agricultural show/farm exhibition organised as part of the activities marking the World Food Day celebration in Abuja-Keffi, Nasarawa State.

The minister said that the Green Alternative is an agriculture policy initiated by Federal Government aimed at promoting agriculture, attracting private sector, creating jobs for youths, ensuring food security and providing value addition in the agricultural sector.

The minister also stated that zero hunger is achievable, calling on all the partners and stakeholders to join forces across board to ensure adequate funding, provision of seeds and other inputs to stimulate agribusinesses through effective extension service delivery.
