Al-Muminat urges against deviation from path of righteousness

Muslim should endeavor to get informed and reformed our self to be a good model to our children because it is what u have that you can give out and the children will always imbibe what we are doing.

The foremost Islamic Woman group Al-Muminat Organization, Mushin Council has urged Nigerians to remain steadfast and resist any action that would lure them to deviate from the path of righteousness.

The Ameerah (Woman Leader) of Al-Muminat, Hajia Sherifat Odekunle who made this call at the opening ceremony of the camping programme for spiritual upliftment and interaction for Muslim women and children held in Mushin recently described the current situation across the world as ‘deviant’

She said:” The world has changed from normal to abnormal; the changes are affecting the home. Ideals are compromise because that is what the society want, people don’t want to be different and the fear of being call fanatic.”

She said, if 90% of our life is base on the Quran and saying of Messenger of Allah (Hadith), the world would have been a better place to live. Hajia Odekunle urge Muslim women to be a good role model in the society. “ We must set pace for others to follow. Let us be a good ambassador of Islam in our society through our look, speeches and actions”.

The Ameerah implored Muslims to remain united, and pray to Allah to ease our affairs. “Let us join hand and pray for President Muhammad Buhari to enable him deliver his electioneering promises, and remember our Muslims in other countries

in prayer, facing one persecution or the other for the sake of Islam. She enjoined the federal Government to allow use of Hijab, in Government Schools and offices because the hijab is enjoin on Muslim women by Allah not An Arab culture.

Hajia Lateefat Salami said, “Muslim should endeavor to get informed and reformed our self to be a good model to our children because it is what u have that you can give out and the children will always imbibe what we are doing. Mothers are teacher to their children and we should pray for our children, ourselves and our husband like the saying of the prophet that says if a country is good look at the mother and if it is bad look at the woman in that country. It is the woman that determines how the home will look like and for a woman to have a good home she need to have compressive knowledge of Islam, we should be able to practicalize it and educate our kids’.
