Starboy To Perform In Amsterdam February 2016

It seems the last of beefs in the Nigeria entertainment space is far from being over and 2016 have been set aside by Nigeria artistes as a year of beef. Just few days after Olamide and Don Jazzy settled their squabbles following their exchange of words at the 2015 Headies held on January 1, Ycee and Vector opened fire on one another, but the former was quick to say there no beef between them. And just as fans were trying grapple with the issue, Blackface roared with his own allegation against Wizkid, who he accused of stealing his songs.

Many music buffs believed the defunct Plantainshunz Boyz member went for the Starboy Records boss jugular recently when he dissed him in his new song, Killah, calling him a ‘copycat’ and using such punchlines like:

Boy Wizkid try me steal melody,
dey copycat, na get me energy,
me burn them me send them to the cemetery.
Tell dem copycats them playing with fire
Tell dem be original or them better retire
Because my fellas no go hesitate to fire
Run dem down…marsh up dem empire

It would be recall that Blackface had taken shots at Wizkid and former boss at E.M.E, Banky W for stealing his I like the way, a song off his Dancehall Bizness album, which he released in 2010 and remake it to Slow whine in Wizkid’s Starboy album released in 2011. Also, it was reported that the Caro singer stole the rave making Ojuelegba, which originally titled Since you been gone in Blackface’s Dancehall Bizness album.
