1EBELECHUKWU Chinelo Enemchukwu, the current Mrs. Nigeria United Nations 2015, has emerged Mrs. Tourism United Nations World 2015. The mother of three kids beat many other contestants from different countries that make up the United Nations to clinch the revered crown in the keenly contested pageant.

Apart from winning the crown for tourism, she also won the People’s Choice Ambassador award for having the highest number of vote (63,900), topping the world chart across all the five categories (Miss, Mrs., Ms., Miss Tourism, Miss Teen) of the competition. Held in Kingston, Jamaica, the global event aims at bringing together representatives of different communities and cultures to share common values, foster international friendship and understanding.

Commenting on the feat, Enemchukwu, said: “Clinching the crown is indeed a milestone achievement in my life. It’s good to know that I will be the face of tourism for the United Nations Pageants System during my reign. I must say, my success at the pageant became possible with the help of my family, teeming fans, especially Nigerians, who believed in me, and also my supporters across the globe. Their votes earned me the People’s Choice Ambassador Award. By God’s grace, I shall promote the ppageant globally and also through my Women Are Beautiful Inside and Out (WABIO) Foundation.” According to Enemchukwu, WABIO seeks to restore and sustain confidence, self-esteem, self-worth, as well as life ambition of girls and women across the globe.

Apart from Ebelechukwu clinching Mrs. Tourism crown under the Mrs. Category, Tubosoye Charles-Dokubo was another Nigerian, who participated in the event under the Ms. Category, but did win the crown.

Recall that in May 16, 2015, Ebelechukwu was crowned Mrs. Nigeria United Nations, which qualified her to represent Nigeria at the world stage. With these titles, Enemchukwu hopes to impact as many lives as possible across the globe. Born in 1983, Enemchukwu is an indigene of Anambra State. She holds a first degree in microbiology from Abia State University (ABSU), Uturu and an MBA from the University of Lagos (UNILAG). She is married to Emeka Enemchukwu.
