Firm takes medical outreach to Kano, Abuja
To provide basic medical assistance to its teeming consumers, the Power Oil Health Camp team has extended its outreach to the Mariri community in Kumbotso Local Council of Kano State and Tunge-Maje community in Gwagwalada, Abuja.
In Kano, the exercise enjoyed the full participation of the district head, the councillor, men and women.
According to the Public Relations Manager, Power oil, Omotayo Azeez: “Power Oil Health Camp initiative began in 2013 with strong footprint in nine locations in Nigeria. It is an ongoing project primarily aimed at bringing free basic health icheck-up closer to the public with the assistance of certified doctors, while sensitising them on ways to maintain a healthy heart,” adding: “Our focus is the well-being of the consumers. We sensitise Nigerians on the need to maintain a healthy lifestyle through regular checkups and healthy choice of food to achieve a sound health”.
The district head, Mariri community, Kano State, Alhaji Saminu Garba, thanked the company for its kind gesture.
Also, the health camp team also recorded a remarkably huge turnout in Tunge-maje community, Gwagwalada, Abuja when the community members came out en-masse for the medical outreach.
