One of Nigeria’s pay TV companies, GOTV, has slashed the price of its decoder from N7,700 to N5,900 in a latest offer tagged ‘GO Gaga Confam.’ The new price, which took off last week, will also see customers enjoy one month of GOTV plus free subscription along with the new price.

While speaking on the price slash, Managing Director, MultiChoice Nigeria, John Ugbe, said the price slash was part of the company’s mission to make quality digital television more affordable in readiness for the digital migration while enriching lives of its customers through unbeatable entertainment.

“Our mission is to provide the best entertainment at an affordable price. We understand that times are tough, but that doesn’t mean that our customers have to miss out on world-class entertainment,” he said.

‘GO Gaga Confam’ price slash comes complete with the GOTV decoder, outdoor antenna (GOtenna) and one month GOTV plus free subscription. At the expiration of one month, subscribers can choose either the GOTV Plus bouquet for a monthly subscription of N1,900, which gives up to 57 top quality local and international channels, GOTV Value for N1, 300 monthly with 40 channels or GOTV Lite at N400 monthly with over 20 channels and three payment options.

Meanwhile, the company recently upgraded its website, gotvafrica.com, to make it easier and more convenient for customers to navigate. It has also been simplified to work on mobile devices and computers. The website enables subscribers to avoid the long queues at physical offices through GOTV Eazy Self- Service which enables them to quickly fix errors.

It also enables them to easily locate a dealer near them, find answers to frequently asked questions, learn more about the decoder, what packages are on offer and so much more.
