Joseph Ayo Babalola University installs Ooni of Ife as patron

Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU), Osun State has named the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi as the institution’s grand patron for the N2.5billion endowment fund raising programme.

Chief Executive Officer of Mutual Benefits Life Assurance Limited and Chairman, JABU endowment committee, Dr. Akin Ogunbiyi while presenting the nomination letter to Oba Ogunwusi said through the initiative, the institution is set to kick start a radical change in the sector.

Ogunbiyi explained that the essence of the fund­raising is to ensure that the necessary infrastructure, including the manpower needed to groom students of the institution is adequately provided.

The royal father thanked the university delegation for the honour and promised to do all within his power to ensure that the vision becomes a reality.”
