Mind Builders marks 20th anniversary

All is now set for the celebration of the 20th anniversary of Mind Builders School, Lagos. According to a programme of activities released by the Chairman, Anniversary Committee, Mr. Olatunde Opeyemi, the anniversary will commence with a Founder’s Day thanksgiving service at the school’s Central Business District (CBD), Ikeja branch tomorrow.

Themed “Celebrating 20 years of God’s Grace, Mercies and Faithfulness,” the service Opeyemi said will be followed by a “Walk for Fitness” on Saturday with participants taking off from Mind Builders School in Omole Phase 1 and Mind Builders School, CBD Ikeja, to converge on Mind Builders School, Omole Phase 2, Olowora, where there will be an aerobics session. 

On Monday, January 15, 2018, he said there would be parenting seminar at CBD in which seasoned speakers have been invited to deliberate on the topic: “Parenting for Success: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.”

“The seminar will be chaired by the President, Association of Private Educators in Nigeria (APEN), Dr. Femi Ogunsanya, while Mrs. Alero Otobo-Ayida will be the keynote speaker.

There will also be Inter-School Spelling Bee competition, while members of the school community would meet at Omole Phase 2, for a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) health outreach project.

The event, would be chaired by the former Commissioner for Health, Lagos State, Dr. Leke Pitan. On Friday January 19, 2017, the school would hand over its second CSR project, a renovated block of classrooms to Olowora Primary School, Ikosi-Isheri LCDA, Lagos, while a Gala Night will hold on Saturday at the summit events centre, Agidingbi, Ikeja. A thanksgiving service at St. Jude’s Anglican Church, Omole Phase 1, Ikeja, would bring to an end the anniversary programme.
