In line with Coca-Cola Hellenic strategic focus on talent acquisition and development, Nigerian Bottling Company Limited (NBC) has commenced activities for the Coca-Cola Hellenic 2017 Management Trainee Programme, which is designed to select only the best of young talents to play key roles in the company’s future growth story.

Director, Human Resources, NBC, Mrs. Grace Omo-Lamai said, “The programme is geared towards preparing the trainees to become high performing managers and ready to take on key roles within the company. It will also provide the successful candidates a unique opportunity to gain professional training within a dynamic work environment characterised by diversity, inclusion and high-performance culture.”

She noted that in line with their core values of excellence and learning, successful candidates would undergo an intensive and comprehensive management programme, adding that only successful trainees who demonstrate high-performance mindset will be fast-tracked into the company’s leadership cadre. While speaking on the series of activities lined up for the programme, Omo-Lamai said participants are poised to experience an intellectually and technically rewarding session, stating that the programme has been structured to accommodate individuals located in designated parts of the country where the company’s plants are located.

According to her, trainees would be exposed to classroom sessions and on-the-job training experience in any of the plants located in Abuja, Asejire, Benin, Challawa, Enugu, Ikeja, Jos, Kaduna, Maiduguri, Owerri and Port Harcourt.

Omo-Lamai stated, “NBC remains committed to supporting government’s drive in reducing the unemployment in the country, hence the introduction of this programme. With this scheme, it is certain that not only will employment rise but also skills multiplied to address some other challenges affecting the country.
