NB’s Golden Pen award still open

In nine consecutive years, Nigerian Breweries has continued to appreciate media excellence through its yearly Golden Pen award.

In nine consecutive years, Nigerian Breweries has continued to appreciate media excellence through its yearly Golden Pen award.

Entries, which opened from July 3, will close on August 4, 2017 to all journalists across the country.

The theme of the year’s award is ‘Agriculture, Local Sourcing and Industrial Development.’ Interested participants are expected to send in their works done in 2016, related to the above theme, to goldenpenawards@tptinternational.com or the corporate address at PR Place, 6/8 Bola Ogunsanya Crescent, Magodo GRA, Shangisha, Lagos.

The award will be in three categories: Nigerian Breweries Golden Pen Reporter of the Year, Nigerian Breweries Golden Pen Photo Journalist of the Year and Nigerian Breweries Golden Pen Report of the Year.

Participants are to send the original published work done in 2016, as well as a photocopy, a Microsoft word copy of the work, original copy of Photograph (for Photojournalists), a portrait photograph, and a three-paragraph profile.

Nigerian Breweries Golden Pen Reporter of the Year will get a cash prize of N2 million plus a gift item, while the first runner-up gets N1 million, and the second runner-up goes home with N750,000. Golden Pen Photojournalist of the Year will smile home with N1 million plus a gift item, the first and second runners-up will be rewarded with N750,000 and N500,000 respectively. The winner of the Report of the Year will receive N1 million with a gift item.
