THE 2016 Nissan IDx concept is no doubt one of the powerful cars that will be hitting the market in a really short time. The car is short, comfortable and heavily equipped with a platoon of features that will turn the car to a top performer the minute it hits the road.

Grown to become a fan-favorite since it was unveiled at the 2013 Tokyo Auto Show, there are two trims, the Nismo and the Freeflow. Both are set to be popular hits upon their release into the market.

The IDx NISMO, is an ultra-sporty model of the future that looks as if it came directly from a driving simulator. The IDx NISMO’s co-creation dialogue took the distilled heritage of Nissan’s basic box-shaped racing vehicles of the past and married it with various intriguing new details. This resulted in a car that appears to be timeless and moored in a place all its own.

The IDx Nismo will be powered by a 1.6 liter engine which is enough for a good family vehicle. The sporty four-cylinder engine will come with a CVT transmission for an impressive performance on the road. This engine is set to produce a stellar 200 horses worth of power. The torque value is also going to be quite a shock for a car of its size. Expected to be the best of all rear-wheel drive cars in the market today, it is small, powerful and very speedy on the road. And may never disappoint users when crusing the streets or driving on the high way.

It fuel consumption is also expected to be trusted with a decent Environmental Protection Agency fuel economy rating both on the highways and in the city. Luckily on the Nismo has been confirmed to go into production.

Bringing back memories of the Datsun 510 with slit difference in the new fascia, the revamped bumpers and the angular curves, the interior of the 2016 Nissan IDx is bound to make users go crazy. The interior comes packed with a whole lot of convenience gadgets. An LCD screen display will not be lacking, Bluetooth connectivity, auto-dimming mirrors, rear view camera and a whole lot of other features.
