NSE Lagos Branch inducts Corporate Members

The Nigeria Society of Engineers (NSE) Lagos branch during the week inducted about 18 Engineers as Corporate Members of the organization, with a charge to actively participate fully in all the activities of the branch as well as to conduct themselves responsibly and respectfully wherever they go, so as to bring honour to the noble Engineering family.

In his address, the Chairman Lagos Branch of NSE, Engr. Oludayo Oluyemi FNSE appealed to government at all levels to use indigenous Engineers in the planning and execution of all the developmental projects in the country.

He further appealed to the National Assembly to instantly give attention to the urgent passage of the Road/Fund Board Bill, The federal Highway Authority Bill and The Transport Commission Bill On his part, the President of Nigeria Society of Engineers, Engr. Otis Anyaeji lauded the inductees’ composure and admonished them to practice according to the Engineering Code of Conduct. Anyaeji assured that Engineers would soon take their rightful place in the country as discussions were in progress with the federal government.

The highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of a merit award to Mr. Ajibola Adebutu, Lady Ada Chukwudozie and Engr. Dapo Abe in recognition of their immense contributions to the engineering profession.
