Minister of Science and Technology, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu, has explained why science is relevant to our daily activities. Onu gave the reasons yesterday in Abuja at the World Science Day, 2018 with theme: “Science, A Human Right.”

He said the celebration highlights the importance of science in society, as well as the relationship between science, peace and development.

The minister said: “The objectives of World Science Day are to strengthen public awareness on the role of science for peaceful and sustainable societies.”
