You And The Presence Of God!

Exodus 33:14, “And He said, My presence shall go with thee and I will give thee rest.”

Life is empty, futile and void without the presence of the Almighty God. God’s presence is a representation of Who and All that He is. Wherever God is, His presence will be there. God’s presence is a full expression of His personality, character, attributes, omnipotence and sovereignty. No wonder, all those who carried the presence of God in the Old and New Testaments became extra-ordinary. Everyone that the Lord God “Was With”, were distinguished and made history in their generations. Genesis 39:2 “And The Lord was with Joseph and he was prosperous in the house of his master, the Egyptian.” Joseph, a slave boy, was very prosperous and was successful in the house of Potiphar.

Moses recognised the place of God’s presence in his Apostolic assignment of leading the Israelites out of bondage into the Promised Land. He told God they were not going to take an inch without His presence and God released His presence to Moses. No one ever gains momentum or achieves supernatural height in life without the catalytic presence of the Almighty God. Everyone who had God “With him or her,” made inspiring history.

Joshua 6:27 “So the Lord was with Joshua and his fame was raised throughout all the country.” Joshua experienced supernatural exploits and publicity because of God’s presence in his life. The list is quite refreshing of those who had God with them – Joseph, Moses, Joshua, Samuel, David etc even our Lord Jesus Christ – Acts 10:38 “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with Power, who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil, for God was with Him.”

You cannot achieve something of significance without the God’s Presence. Our greatest acquisition should not be British Pound Sterling, Dollars or Euro, but the God’s presence. With God’s Presence, all the good things of life will definitely beour portion. Today, the fullness of the God Head dwells bodily in Christ Jesus. And as you receive Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, the sovereign Holy Spirit will abide with you forever. Psalm, 114: 5-7: “What ailed thee, o thou sea that thou fleddest? Thou Jordan that thou wast driven back? Ye mountains, that ye skipped like rams and ye little hills like lambs? Tremble thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob.” Pursue and acquire God’s Presence. You will know your God and do exploits.

PRAYER: Father God I thirst after You as a thirsty land. Father, I desire Your presence. Father, surround me with Your presence. Help me to walk in the fullness of Your presence. I desire You, Father. Jesus my Lord, fill me with Thy precious Holy Spirit.
