Digital media company She Leads Africa (SLA) has announced the launch of the SLAY Festival, an outdoor celebration of innovation, culture and technology with African women at the centre. Set for January 21, 2017 from 11a.m. – 8p.m. at the Railway Corporation in Ebute-Metta, Lagos, the festival will feature inspirational speakers, virtual reality lab and exhibition, consultants corner for free business advice, a marketplace with women entrepreneurs, and much more.

Some of the speakers that will be sharing their insights at SLAY Festival include: CEO of Gemstone Group, Fela Durotoye; Founder of CEO of House of Tara, Tara Durotoye; Film Producer and CEO of ROK Studios, Mary Remmy Njoku; Founder of Invicta Africa, Bukky Karibi-Whyte; and The Bobby Taylor Company, Kemi Adetiba, Film and Music Video Director, among others.

The festival will have fun activities all day long including jollof rice bar, consultant corner, art exhibition, pop up salon and music game show. She Leads Africa is an organisation that helps young women achieve their professional dreams. SLA has featured in the Financial Times, BBC, CNN, Forbes, CNBC Africa, Fast Company, Black Enterprise and Huffington Post.
