Cracked feet are not pleasant to look at. The weather plays a huge role in this but your decision on how to cure it that matters. Taking care of your feet requires the knowledge that your feet are naturally dry and is often exposed to the sun thereby leaving it susceptible to cancer.
There are several ways to heal cracked feet:
- Soak: This is one of the most popular ways to soften your feet. To do this, pour lukewarm water in a bath. Add tea tree oil or white vinegar (to prevent infection) and Epsom salts. Soak your feet for 10 minutes. Clean your feet with a towel and use a deep moisturizer.
- Moisturise overnight: Apply Vaseline on your feet and wear cotton socks. Sleep with it. Do this continuously and your feet will look better in a few weeks.
- Pumice stone: This does wonder especially on the bottom of the skin. Gentle scrub your feet to exfoliate the hard skin. Exfoliate twice a week
- Vinegar: Add ¾ cup of white vinegar to your lukewarm water and soak your feet for 10 minutes.
