For those who travel a lot and see good things in other countries, the best they can do to contribute to the advancement of our society is to bring in ideas and act on them, the end result of which will help in the modernization of our society and ultimately lead to better living, healthier lifestyle and longevity.

It is not enough to just live or live with avoidable ailments like lower back pain, diabetes, High blood pressure or sudden deaths. Stress can hurt you. It can affect how you think, feel and behave. It also can change how your body works.

With the technological advancement in Nigeria, having deep massages to relieve one of stress and give a “feel good” emotional upliftment is no longer an unnecessary luxury but a lifestyle necessity. It is a space to pamper yourself in much needed “Me” time to chill out, relax, recharge, reflect, detox and re-energise.

A visit to Cata Spa reflected the international standard of better living, healthier lifestyle and longevity. The resort is located at No.18, Osolo Way, Ajao Estate, off International Airport Road, Lagos and is five minutes from the International Airport, Lagos.

Located in a serene environment, Cata Spa Resort has nine massage treatment rooms, 12 luxuriously- furnished apartments with kitchenettes and sofa beds for families on short holidays, with other recreational facilities like swimming pool and gym club membership. The best of it all is that they have a trained therapist to look after you as you gradually build up your personal fitness programme and professional staff.

As a #foodie, I was pleased to know that they also have amazing packages. These packages include:

  • One-day spa: lodging, from 7:30 am to 7 pm with breakfast, lunch and dinner; with 2 or 3 spa treatments
  • 3-day package –lodging with breakfast, lunch and dinner; with 4 to 6 spa treatments
  • 5-day package –lodging with breakfast, lunch and dinner; with7 to 10 spa treatments
  • 7-day package –lodging with breakfast, lunch and dinner; with 8 to 12 spa treatments.

Also, they had the single treatment which came in massage packages such as deep- tissue massage, hot-stone massage, Swedish and Thai massage. Other varieties of treatments include aromatherapy, reflexology, sauna and steam bath.

After this, I went to the Amingos bar/lounge which created a pleasant sight as it overlooked the pool.

Overall, I believe it is a must visit if you want the best of Spa treatments in Lagos.
