Even though it has just been a few days, Jay-Z has made us wait forever for his highly-sought for video, Family Feud.

The eight-minute video, which made former president Obama’s list of favourite songs of 2017, addresses different subjects including his infidelity.

The star-studded song features Michael B. Jordan, Jessica Chastain, Constance Wu, Rosario Dawson, Blue Ivy (His daughter), Beyonce, Rashida Jones.

However, the Catholic League for Civil and Religious Rights criticised the video for its “bigoted assault” while claiming that “a video trailer is supposed to be a teaser, but in this case it falls flat, leading nowhere”, Bill Donohue, the president of the group wrote.

He described Jay-Z’s lyrics as “relentlessly racist”…but it is nonetheless gratuitous as well as exploitative, just the kind of thing we would expect from this genius couple”, he continued.

Although the group is unofficially connected with the Catholic church, it says that its mission is to defend the church when “slanderous assaults” are made.
