CPC Reopens Krispy Kreme In Lagos

A few weeks ago, the Consumer Protection Council (CPC) announced that it had suspended the operations of one of Nigeria’s favourite sweet tooth Krispy Kreme confectionary in Victoria Island for using expired doughnut fills.

In a recent development, the consumer council has announced that it has reopened the confectionary. An official statement signed by the Director-General, Babatunde Irukera, states that the outlet “satisfied that their operations and consumption of their product currently meets prevailing standards”.
