Ed Sheeran Wants “The Rest Of Our Life” Lawsuit Thrown Out

At the beginning of the year, British singer Ed Sheeran was sued by two Austrailains Sean Carey and Beau Golden for stealing the lyrics of a hit song they wrote.

TMZ reports that he has reacted by submitting documents claiming that the written song is dispute The Rest Of Our Life is an “originally and independently created musical composition” written for Tim McGraw and Faith Hill.

Carey and Golden claim he “blatantly copied” the song they wrote for Jasmine Rae titled When I Found You. They are asking for $5 million for damages and other royalties.

Sheeran hopes that the case will be thrown out by the judge.
