The Motor racing society is an evolving sports culture in Nigeria. The Elekor Motor Race also known as EMR has emerged in the aim of educating the public as well as promoting the growth and knowledge of automotive sciences in Nigeria. EMR has been known to feature partner brands such as Coscharis Motors, Studio 53 Extra, Supersports and OMR Racing.
The Elekor Motor Race is the most thrilling motor event which takes place on the 17th of December 2016 in Elekor beach, Lagos. The twice yearly event started off in 2014, taking place 6 times up until 2016.
This year will be celebrating the the 7th edition of the event which is expected be the most exhilarating motor experience so far. Set to cover about 26 kilometers with hand picked back roads along the coastline, as well as the okada championchip race for indigenes of the community.
In order to participate, each team must comprise of a driver and Navigator of a 4 x 4 or AWR Vehicle. For more information on the event, go to www.elecormotorace.com.
