Face of Hubcoture

MUSON Festival Drama

 

This year’s Chevron Festival Drama is The Engagement written by Sefi Atta. It will be staged at the , directed by Dr Patrick-Jude Oteh. The Chevron Festival Drama has been sponsored since 2001 by Chevron Nigeria Limited.

One Language

One Language is scheduled to premiere at the festival finale on Saturday October 21st “One Language” will explore a dramatic entry of five people from each of the six countries that will represent six continents of the world. They will find themselves in an empty space. Though they do not understand their various languages, they come to share a bond through the power of music, dance, drama and other values like entertainment and respect of the national anthem.
Date: Saturday, October 21, 2017 – Sunday, October 22, 2017.

Shift Lemme Faint!

“Shift Lemme Faint” is a set of witty monologues written by some of Nigeria’s finest writers depicting life in Nigeria and adapted into a stage production. These monologues and conversations are about the peculiarities of being Nigerian, in other words… our ridiculousness as Nigerians, because as we like to say, “We Nigerians are special!”

Freedom Hall’s Tribute to Fela Anikulapo Kuti

Fela Anikulapo Kuti was a great man …but even many years after his death, he’s still a legend both home and abroad. Freedomhall Nigeria will be celebrating Fela. Come and sing and dance to your favorite Fela music. It is poetry, spoken word, music and open mic for Fela.

Muson Centre Festival Gala Concert

The TOTAL Festival Gala Concert will feature the 45-man MUSON Symphony Orchestra conducted by the virtuoso Visiting Conductor, Walter-Michael Vollhardt, and the 40-man MUSON Choir conducted by its veteran Conductor, Sir Emeka Nwokedi, in a combined performance that promises to live up to the reputation of the TOTAL Festival Gala Concerts.
