It kicked off earlier today with a fashion conference at the Balmoral Centre, Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos themed “Increasing Nigeria’s Participation in the Global Garment Production Industry”. Then, in the evening, the Fashions Finest Africa Awards took place to celebrate those who have made a mark in the fashion industry.

The show’s host, Bolanle Olukanni, also performed beautifully in three looks that embodied a truly stylish Nigerian, a guest at the royal wedding and a celebrity at the Catholic-themed Met Gala.

The show goes on for two more days on Sunday and Monday, the 27th and 28th of May, 2018 with fashion shows featuring established, new, emerging and student designers. There will be special exhibitions and vendors available to give fashion lovers the opportunity to shop their favourite looks.
