Get ready, Rihanna Navy! Fenty Beauty is coming!

Rockstar Rihanna has signed a deal with the Kendo division of LVMH – which also happens to produce Marc Jacobs Beauty – for her first ever make-up brand.  In 2015, the singer first spoke of her plans to venture into the beauty industry. Now, she’s getting ready to launch Fenty Beauty by Rihanna, a full cosmetics collection, in 2017.

Are we excited about this? Of course we are! Especially because every collaboration Rihanna has previously worked on has been amazing. Rihanna has collaborated with MAC on two separate occasions – once for Mac’s collection of Viva Glam lipsticks, and the other for the RiRi Hearts collection. She has also worked with Manolo Blahnik in creating a collection for this spring, and has an ongoing partnership with Puma. Of course, we can’t leave out her 2013 River Island range and the fact that she has seven fragrances to her name.

Speaking to WWD, David Suliteanu, chief executive officer of Kendo said:

“Kendo is honored to work with Rihanna. Fenty Beauty by Rihanna is a beauty rocket ship that will appeal to a huge and diverse global audience. We are aiming for the stars.”

Considering that Rihanna is already a beauty icon we expect wonderful things from Fenty Beauty. One can only guess what themes we should be expecting.
