“A Bad Moms Christmas” Kicks Off Hollywood Holiday Season
Susan Sarandon, Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, among others walked the red carpet of A Bad Moms Christmas in Los Angeles.
The comedy, which is based around how a group of mothers (Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, Kathryn Hann) push back against the expectations and traditions of Christmas, all while dealing with their mothers (Susan Sarandon, Cheryl Hines, Christine Baranski).
The comedy movie marks the first Hollywood Christmas offering of the season. The film is a sequel to the 2016 hit Bad Moms which has raked in more than $180 million worldwide with a budget of just $20 million.
Producers are hoping for the same success with the Christmas version. Actors and actresses at the premiere said the new film is “raunchier” than the original but just as funny while paying homage to the special relationship between mothers and daughters.
A Bad Moms Christmas opens in theatres today, November 1.
