Veteran actress Genevieve Nnaji is leaving no stone unturned in her new film Lionheart.
LionHeart is the story of an intelligent and aspiring young woman, Adaeze Obiagu (Nnaji), who will oversee her father (Pete Edochie)’s company, LionHeart, under the supervision of her uncle (Nkem Owoh). Soon, they find out the company has run into troubled waters.
Nnaji explains that the film is an expression of her “creative interpretation of story-telling”:
“Lionheart’ is the beginning of a journey to explore and express my creative interpretation of story-telling, particularly African stories. Africa is a possessor of the most compelling stories as yet untold, and we are determined to tell our stories, our way, through our voices, to the world”.
