Tom Cruise returns for the sixth instalment of the Mission Impossible film titled Mission: Impossible – Fallout.

Appraised for its cinematography, story and stunts, Ethan Hunt (played by Cruise) and his IMF team (Alec Baldwin, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames) make a comeback to rescue the world.

In the film, Ethan Hunt (Cruise) is confronted with the decision of saving one person at the expense of other lives or the reverse. They decide to go off to trail a terrorist named John Lark who is working with a group called “the Apostles” to destroy the world’s biggest religions with nuclear materials.

The film shows Cruise pulling off the cool stunts we know him for, including the HALO jump and skydiving at an altitude of 4,000 metres, a stunt he practised for a year. This made him the first to do this death-defying stunt. The film was shot in Paris, Britain, New Zealand, Norway and the UAE.

The adventure/spy film is directed by Christopher McQuarrie making him the first director to be work on two of the six series.

Rotten Tomatoes rated the movie 94%, while Metacritic gave it an 86% rating. Rotten Tomatoes reviews claim that it might just be one of the best action films ever.

You can watch this exhilarating film at Filmhouse Cinemas nationwide.
