Cooking can be time-consuming and sometimes, frustrating if we are not getting the desired results as much as we want to. Fortunately, there are some hacks that will aid anyone in the kitchen.

Boiling Water

Spilling boiling water t is one thing we dread. To fix this, all you need is a wooden spoon. It is an old wives tale that has been tested and trusted for ages. Place it in the middle and watch it prevent it from boiling over. No one exactly knows why this happens But one thing is sure, our mothers were a lot smarter than we think.

Too Much Spice

Some like it spicy, some do not. For people who do not and have prepared spicy meal at home, not to worry. Apple Cider Vinegar does all the magic. Three or four tablespoons of your meal will tone it down without taking the taste away.

Bland Grain

While the popular Nigerian rice (Ofada) might have its aroma, there are some processed rice as well as other types of grains that might be bland. It does not have to be bland anymore. Add a teabag of your favourite flavour in the grain and enjoy the rich taste of your grain after cooking.

Peeling
