The debut album Rare by the talented up and comer artist Odunsi the Engine dropped today as pre-announced, 12th October 12, 2018.
The album which features 14 tracks includes the pre-released lead single ‘Divine’ featuring Davido. Also, in a bid to pull all the stops, other artistes featured are mainstream name Runtown; international acts Nasty C and Hamzaa, and new waves stars: Santi, Tay Iwar, Deundita, Zamir LOS.
Preceded by an exclusive listening party of the album yesterday night, showing support, Davido and Adekunle Gold, graced the party.
Describing his music as Afro-fusion, a combination of genre, the newest signee of the Universal Music, sites Prince, Asa, Kris Okotie, Plantashun Boiz, Sade and more as his musical inspirations for the album. Their influences are seen littered all over the album.
