The name Wizkid is one that resonates not just across Nigeria but Africa as well as many parts of the globe. The Starboy was in Kenya over the weekend, where he performed at the Katika Festival on Saturday, November 3rd.

The sensational “Fever” crooner was the headline act at the concert which witnessed a massive audience who had turned up at the Afraha Stadium to catch a view of one of Africa’s biggest music stars.

Taking to Instagram yesterday, November 7, the award-winning singer shared a video of his reception from the airport to the moment he went on stage. He also took time to appreciate the Kenyan fans for their love and support.

It would be recalled that Wizkid recently broke the Nigerian YouTube record with the visual for his song, “Fever” which surpassed over a million views in less than 24 hours of its release. The video features Mavin Records first lady, Tiwa Savage with whom he is rumoured to be in a romantic relationship with. The duo was seen in several intimate scenes in the video causing a lot of conversation on social media.
