Oops! Ed Sheeran Breaches Royal Protocol

Just when we were celebrating his new conferment as a member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE), pictures have emerged of British pop singer, Ed Sheeran breaching royal protocol at the Buckingham Palace.

The Shape of You crooner, who made efforts to impress royalty by wearing a suit to cover up his tattoos, was seen holding the arm of Prince Charles, the future king of Britain. Let’s just hope it’s unintentional.

Ed Sheeran is a British born musician. Apart from being the most-streamed artist of 2017, his album, Divide, is also the biggest album of the year. His single released off the album, Shape of You topped Spotify charts making it the biggest track of all time.

Ed, who was visibly pleased, said that his grandfather would have been super proud of his achievement.

“My grandfather was a massive royalist,.. He had all the commemorative plates and stuff, and he died on this day four years ago, so it’s actually quite a nice full circle thing, I guess he’d be pretty proud”.
