The location of The Lighthouse Bar & Grill has the perfect location on Admiralty Way, Lekki Phase One. It is right before the roundabout leading to the toll gate and has an amazing view of the lagoon. The general aesthetics of the space is Instagram worthy. T’s also what you need in the ever busy universe that is Lagos.

As we sat down at the restaurant, we had a waiter attend to us almost immediately. Looking at the menu, I expected more from it and seeing as I didn’t like seafood, I was very limited with my choice. At the end of the day, I settled for the chicken wings and potato chips. The drink menu, on the other hand, was very impressive, but I settled for the fruit cocktail.

The fruit cocktail came first and I was impressed with the size of it, considering the location. Unfortunately, it was difficult enjoying the meal with the flies that hung around. So, I decided to sit at the bar inside so I could enjoy my meal when it arrived.

The chicken wings and chips arrived and I was startled by the size of the wings. Although they should have been called baby chicken wings, it was adequately spiced and had the grilled flavour going as well. the chips were properly fried and a generous amount as well. The meal was filling at the end of the day.

The fruit cocktail was the true winner for me here, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Would I be visiting Lighthouse anytime soon? Definitely! I will also be trying out their seafood menu regardless of my personal reservations.
