The launch date for the new Samsung Galaxy S9 smartphone has been confirmed as the 25th of February, 2018.

The multinational phone company released an invitation which comes in the form of a large purple “9” on a black background highlighting the words: The camera. Reimagined. Although no further details have been revealed about the phone, one can expect that Samsung has plans to take their cameras to new levels.

The unveiling coincides with the Mobile World Congress which holds from February 26- March 1, 2018. As an event specifically designed for brands to showcase their products for the 2018 market, Samsung will be their biggest headliners since its inception.

More details will be revealed in the coming days, however, whatever Samsung has to offer must be able to compete with iPhone X, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone 8.
