Style Crush Of The Week: Sharon Ooja
Ever since we saw her as “Shalewa” in Skinny Girl In Transit, we’ve developed our own little crush on Sharon Ooja. Besides her obvious on-screen talent, she also has an impeccable taste and has been consistently turning it out at red carpets, parties and fashion shows.
While it is clear that Sharon’s career is on the fast track, she is also capturing our attention during her downtime. “My style can sometimes be an expression of my mood and how I’m feeling (laughs) when I’m in high spirits I really dress up and other times I simply just dress chilled,” she told Guardian life.
Whether she’s running around the street of Lagos making movies or sharing pictures on Instagram, her style constantly turns heads.
This comes naturally for Sharon, ” I love dressing up and expressing myself through my style” she told Guardian life.

Tuesdays are always half as busy as Mondays, with meetings and meeting lots of people. It’s very important to keep it Chic. “I believe your style introduces you before you speak,” she says.

Saturday
“Denim is for Saturdays,” she smiles as she tells us. Denim on Denim is never heavy with Sharon, she keeps it casual on Saturdays and wears denim. You probably shouldn’t wear platform on a Saturday, “I cant be caught dead in platform heels I think they are for strippers (laughs).”

You may not know but gathers are best for Sunday events, they really accentuate your shape, and there are so many different textures and patterns that you can play around with. Sharon wears a cute gathers pant and a short sleeve fishnet blouse.
“There’s nothing wrong with wearing makeup and hair extensions to feel pretty, but you can’t get lost in all of it. You need to love your natural self without any of that.” Sharon adds.
