Luxury fashion designer LaQuan Smith presented his Spring/Summer 2019 collection at the 2018 New York Fashion Week (NYFW).
His edgy collection showed outfits with cutouts, asymmetrical cuts, see-through fabric, hourglass silhouettes and enough skin to make you look forward to another summer vacation. The designer brought back some of our favourite 2018 trends, from mules to sequins and short shorts.
Opening the show was Winnie Harlow, a Canadian fashion model and public spokesperson on the skin condition vitiligo.
The models’ makeup was done by Maybelline New York Nigeria’s artistic director, Bimpe Onakoya, who also headlined the Rochambeau earlier in the week.
